Hello, and thanks for visiting Planet of the Books!
While you’re here, let me say a quick hello. My name is Adele, and you came to the right place for us to geek out about books. I love books. I have loved reading books since forever, and, yes, my childhood dream was to have my own library (that’s obviously not going to happen, or will it?).
For quite a few years now, I’ve been thinking about how great it would be to have a map that shows where the action happens in the books.
You the the feeling, when you read a book, and you can totally get lost in it. Be there, feel the all those feelings, adventure together with your heroes. Something like what happened to the boy in "The NeverEnding Story”.
And the best time to do things is the present. It’s been a dream for a few years... but I realized it is not enough just talking about it.
So here we are. No, it’s not a big corporate website with established teams and budgets. It’s just me. And maybe some of you, who read books and come across a location.
I hope you’ll lend me a hand and help me populate the map – if you stumble upon a location in a book, please send the details to me. I’d be very happy and grateful.
Time to get lost in a book!
